Our mission

Care for those who have no one else.

Serene Living was established to serve people who are too often forgotten during life’s final chapter. At Serene Living, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment for forgotten veterans, the homeless, and individuals facing family crisis during their final days. Our mission is to offer a clean and comfortable home where residents can experience care, dignity, and grace at End of Life.

We focus on veterans, unhoused individuals, and families in crisis throughout San Antonio and Bexar County—meeting people where they are and helping them reach a safe, peaceful setting for end-of-life care.

The gap we are preparing to close

Traditional healthcare and hospice models can reach their limits when a patient has no reliable home environment, caregiver, transportation, or family advocate. Aging veterans may be isolated. Unhoused neighbors may be living with advanced illness in unsafe conditions. Low-income families can be overwhelmed by a sudden terminal diagnosis.

Serene Living’s model brings together bedside coordination, housing-compatible support, essential supplies, relief caregiving, and family navigation around one clear promise: each person will be seen, supported, and treated with dignity.
